Patagonia RPS Climbing Pants
You’ll be surprised by how different everything feels on real rock. Outdoor climbing takes a much harder toll on your skin and your clothes, so the thin running shorts you wear when you’re climbing in the gym aren’t your best bet on rock. Not only did these Patagonia climbing pants look great, they felt great on. While the fit was a bit slimmer than most other climbing pants, they felt comfortable and didn’t restrict movement. They had a good amount of tightness in the waist and the ability to convert them into knee-length was great when the weather grew hot. They feel thinner than some other climbing pants we’ve tried, but didn’t get torn up during several outdoor and indoor climbing sessions.
