Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph
This is the first time Patek Philippe’s Aquanaut has been offered with a chronograph complication, which takes an already outstanding watch and makes it even more functional. It’s a sporty offering from a company that’s known for some truly elegant watches, and it has real muscle. It comes fitted with a composite strap that’s embossed with the same distinctive pattern you’ll find on the dial, and thanks to its screw-down crown, the case is water-resistant to 120 m—a surprising ability for a watch with an exhibition case back. What’s even more impressive is that its flyback chronograph movement is so sophisticated that it can be used as a running seconds hand if you aren’t using it to time your laps on the pool or track. If you’re not feeling the black strap, it comes with an orange one that reflects the color of the chronograph hand.
