Team Green has been crushing it in World Superbike racing this year, claiming yet another championship. And the new, revamped ZX-10R is the direct result of feedback from the title-winning team and its riders. There’s a new 998cc inline-four motor with more power everywhere in the rev range, wrapped by a new chassis. Up front, a super trick Showa fork, heavily influenced by racing experience, offers total adjustability. But the real magic is in this bike’s brain, a Bosch Inertia Measurement Unit that monitors five axes of motion, and includes some Kawasaki-only programming to electronically aid the rider with launch control, lean-sensitive anti-lock braking, adjustable traction-control, braking control, and a quick-shifter. Prices start at $15,000 for the non-ABS model and top out at $16,300 for the KRT Edition featuring the racing team colors.
