Yamaha DT-07 Concept Bike
One of the coolest bikes to debut at AIMExpo was one of a kind: the DT-07 concept dirt track racer. Yamaha wanted to show the kind of flat-tracker that could be based around the 689cc, twin-cylinder motor found in the brand’s street-going FZ-07. Built by Jeff Palhegyi Design in partnership with Yamaha’s U.S. racing shop, the DT-07 has a special frame, swing-arm, dirt track wheels and tires, modified engine, plus unique, sleek bodywork. The look and paint scheme recall the 1970s Yamaha dirt trackers that powered legendary rider Kenny Roberts to a pair of Grand National Championships.
