Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Concept
In an effort to build a true ruggedized off-road variant of the popular Colorado that could battle Jeep’s iconic Wrangler, the ZR2 concept could be a winner. Powered by a new 2.8L Duramax diesel, all the aggressive elements are there — grille, fascia, power dome, massive fender flares — but beyond that, this Colorado’s mindset is on tackling tough terrain. Beyond being lifted two inches, there are also the standard front control arms, mono-tube coil-over shock absorbers and electronic-locking front and rear diffs. That all equates to a stunningly impressive 30.7-degree approach angle. There’s even a custom inclinometer that indicates how close the driver is from over or on the side.
