This is the last thing you’d want to see after spending $200,000 on a sports car. A Lamborghini Huracán Spyder broke out into flames last Friday night in Boston, catching fire close to the Boston Public Library, according to Boston.com.
Firefighters responded to the flaming car around 6 p.m. and were eventually able to contain the fire. No injuries were reported, according to the fire department. While an official cause of the fire has not been determined yet, Jalopnik reported that some of the witnesses to the event said that the driver was “over-revving” the engine of the car.
Here’s a look at the car engulfed in flames:
On Friday night, a Lamborghini caught fire outside the Boston Public Library in Copley Square after the driver kept revving its engine too much. Kids, this is what happens when you flex too hard…

Let this event be a cautionary tale to you: If you own a Lamborghini or want to buy one in the future, don’t rev the engine too much.
