1. Mel Brooks & Carl Reiner, ‘2000-Year-Old Man’
When I was a kid, the 2000-Year-Old Man really left a mark on me. It’s a routine by Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner that’s basically a fake interview with a guy who’s 2,000 years old. Brooks and Reiner work so well together; it was a big influence on John Mulaney and me when we created our comedy act Oh, Hello.
