10. Fence Removal
Why it works: Removing a fence isn’t a weekly or seasonal task, but it’s one of the toughest occasional DIY gigs. Digging out fence posts anchored with 40-plus pounds of concrete, then carrying the posts to the curb or loading them into a truck is a brutal full-body workout.
Keys to success: Use proper squat technique when hoisting the posts out of the ground. Grab the post by the concrete for transport. If you’re lucky some of the concrete will break off and make life easier.
