Smoking is one addictive habit. According to the American Cancer Society, only four to seven percent of smokers are able to quit in any one of their attempts if they don’t use medicine or outside help. That sounds pretty dire but there is good news: As of 2002, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that the number of former smokers in our country has officially exceeded the number of current smokers.
