Make sure your blood sugar stays balanced. You may not be able to bring liquids past the TSA, but you can bring food, so toss a hard container full of blueberries and a bag of almonds in your carry-on. Even if you’re in a hurry, make sure to grab a healthy snack once you’re near the gate. Skipping meals isn’t the best idea on an ordinary day, but can really heighten stress levels when you’re traveling.
