Bike: Focus on Your Glutes
When you’re on your bike you want to make sure to activate the glutes by drawing in the belly while keeping a flat back. “It’s the key core stabilizer,” says Scott, “and the advantage for all the triathletes is that they won’t turn themselves into a banana while they’re n the bike if they do this.” To follow the advice, make sure you don’t feel like your back is rounded and you’re not slouching on your bike. Scott says to put your hand on the lowest rib and then put your hand on that boney part on your hip, and notice the gap and try to keep that open.
