An inspirational (and true) story from the early days of World War II, Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk plays with elements of time and tension (as do many of his movies) as he portrays the very human struggle to endure the most brutal of circumstances. Dunkirk drove viewers to Twitter in droves to share their thoughts and questions about the fate of the Allied forces stranded in hostile territory.
