Chances are you’re kind of stressed out. According to American Psychological Association’s most recent survey on stress in America, 72 percent of the 3,068 adults polled said they felt stressed about money in the past month. And that’s just money. Add to that worries about your relationship, the election, and family life (for starters), and you have a state of mind that’s pretty much unavoidable. Sure, you want to limit the stress in your life, but be wary of anyone promising you a cure-all — the false prospect of a stress-free life. Chances are, the promises, like the seven outlined below, will do little but get you more worried.
