Making Poor Use of Your Time
Over and over again, personal trainers bemoan the terrible time management of many guys at the gym, whether because they’re just goofing off or playing on their phones. Don’t be that guy. “In order to enhance the benefits of your body’s energy systems, proper and strict rest times should be implemented,” says Christian Koshaba, the founder and CEO of Three60fit. “That is, anywhere between 30 seconds to as long as two to three minutes between working sets. You shouldn’t be chatting it up for five minutes or more in between exercises or sets.”
