Some years ago, Parker was reading through the popular magazine of a much-loved celebrity chef and saw a recipe for dog risotto. It included garlic and onions, both of which are toxic to dogs. “It made me so sad and angry that someone who clearly has no knowledge of pet nutrition is publishing this for all the world to see and it’s potentially going to make pets sick,” says Parker.
