The results are in! After six challenging months of fitness training, dieting, and completely revamping his lifestyle, we are pleased to announce that Bobby Calilli is our Fat to Fit Winner!

Starting Weight: 339 lbs Final Weight: 277 lbs
Total Weight Loss: 62 lbs!
Bobby says, “I lost 7 inches off my waist. I’m down from a tight 3XL to a comfortable 1XL. I also put on about 10 lbs of muscle during my training.

We recently caught up with our winner.

What was the most challenging lifestyle change you had to make to follow this program successfully?
Learning how to eat properly and more often. Five or six small meals spread out over the day was the key to my success.

What’s your favorite workout or exercise?
My trainer, Mike Lipinski, had me do this exercise called Hercules curls. I love that one. It’s different and really develops the bicep.

What’s your least favorite workout or exercise?
I walked between two and three miles around a track three days per week. Boring, but it has to be done.

What’s your favorite healthy snack?
Fruit. An apple a day, as the saying says. Also I would eat a banana every other day.

Any words of wisdom you can share with other Men’s Fitness readers who are on their own weight loss journeys?
Stick to it. I turned 50 during the program and I knew I had to lose the weight. Do it while you’re young, don’t wait like me.

What’s the best thing about the new you?
I had sleep apnea. I snored and couldn’t walk up 2 flights of stairs. I ost the weight and no more sleep apnea, no snoring and I can walk 3 miles straight. I’m as healthy as when i was 18.
