Here’s a way to sneak a little stretching in, in an ab workout. You’ll be working those abs with free weights—look Ma, no machine—so you can take these ab moves out of the gym to, well, anywhere else you feel comfortable lying on the ground, making grunting sounds. You’ll feel this in your abs, and you’ll feel it in your hamstrings, and if you haven’t stretched your hamstrings for a while … well, no pain, no gain.
