First, Chris Pratt landed on the July/August cover of Men’s Fitness. Then his movie Guardians of the Galaxy opened to a record-breaking $94.3 million in North America over the weekend – that’s after he gave up beer and dropped 60 pounds for the role. Now, Pratt is showing his talents really have no end.
While promoting his new flick on Sirius XM’s station Shade45, Pratt found himself spitting Eminem’s verse from “Forgot About Dre’” word for word. When the show’s host, DJ Whoo Kid, asked Pratt what kind of music he likes, the actor launched into a story about living in a van in Maui, smoking weed every day with a friend.
He called Dr. Dre’s The Chronic 2001 his “Peter Quill mix,” referring to the superhero character he plays in Guardians of the Galaxy.
“I know every word of that album,” he says. To which DJ Whoo Kid appropriately challenged Pratt to prove it.
The result, shown in this video, is truly epic.
