The best reason to work out with your kids? It’s so much less boring than hitting the treadmill by yourself. If it feels more like play time for them, it’ll seem much less like work to you. For Wade – who last year published a book, ‘A Father First,’ about his relationship with his sons – that means letting the kids guide the action. If they’re doing something that they love, the workout part will happen naturally. “They’re big into basketball, swimming,” he says. “Swimming in summer is a great exercise to do together.
