Exclusive Video: Legendary Boxer Mike Tyson Gives the “Undisputed Truth”

Former heavyweight champion and boxing legend Mike Tyson stopped by the Men’s Fitness offices to discuss his new HBO film, Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, and his recently released autobiography of the same name. The film, an edited taping of Tyson’s hit one-man Broadway show directed by Spike Lee, is an emotional rollercoaster, and Tyson holds nothing back. A lot of ground is covered in 90 minutes: From his proudest moments—becoming the youngest world heavyweight champion ever, learning to be a family man—to his darkest lows—addiction, prison, Evander Holyfield’s ear—Tyson tells his story in his own words and in a way that feels genuine throughout.

The Fighter Workout

In this exclusive interview with Men’s Fitness, Tyson talks about the grueling reality of what it takes to be a world champion. As a man who once had a bank balance of $400 million and was at one point unknowingly paying Don King $8,000 a week for “towels,” Tyson is able to provide a raw, unfiltered—sometimes hilarious—insight into the life of one of the most intriguing athletes of our time.
