After months of speculation from the galaxy far, far away, Disney on Thursday dropped the first official teaser trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the first of three slated “anthology” movies that explore the Star Wars universe from outside the original George Lucas story arc. That’s Felicity Jones in the lead role, plus appearances from Diego Luna, Mads Mikkelsen, and—hang on, is that Donnie Yen kicking a bunch of Stormtrooper ass? Hell yeah it is!
Wet Tinder: A new app called Swipe Buster ($4.99 on the App Store) promises to reveal if your significant other is trolling around Tinder. But the app’s creator, who granted an anonymous interview to Vanity Fair, said the app is moreso designed to reveal how much private information Tinder makes public via its API than any desire to out Tinder users. A Story-Book Start: With his home run on Wednesday night, Colorado Rockies rookie shortstop Trevor Story became the first player since at least 1900 to hit home runs in his first three games, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. And he’s not the only one to pull it off: Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano has hit three homers in his first three games (although he’s been around a lot longer than Story has). [ESPN]
