Fit Fix: Part of Ronda Rousey “Died” in Holm Loss, Sister Says

“She Wasn’t Invincible”: When Ronda Rousey was knocked out by Holly Holm in that fateful fight in Australia this fall, a part of her “died,” her sister Maria Burns Ortiz writes in a Vice Sports column titled “The Year My Sis Ronda Rousey Became a Superstar.” Burn Ortiz defends Rousey in the emotional, intimate piece, which offers insight into the turbulent private life of Rousey and her family as they have navigated her—and, to some degree, their—rise to international superstardom. “I saw someone I cared about have her soul crushed,” Burns Ortiz writes. “The world watched Ronda fall, but I have had the opportunity to watch her get back up.” [Vice]

Hop in a 1963 baby blue Corvette with Jerry Seinfeld & President Obama as we take you behind the scenes in the latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

(For the record, we’d recommend our six-week program to get a six-pack.)

No Longer a Gym Excuse: The next time you drag your sorry ass to the gym and someone says you look kinda beat, DO NOT tell them you’re “just there so you won’t get fined.” Marshawn Lynch has trademarked that phrase. And if you say it, Marshawn Lynch will burst through the cinderblock wall of your gym and truck-stick you out of the squat rack. You have been warned. [CBS Sports]
