Very simply, if a client’s struggling to be consistent, I underassign the workload. That way, I ensure that every workout’s a success.
I never burn them out early on. Instead, I make them feel like the program’s repeatable day in and day out, so in time it becomes habitual, a part of everyday life.
I also offer different types of training throughout the year to avoid boredom. There’s nothing worse than showing up for a workout dreading it. There’s also no reason for it. Train hard, but enjoy the process.
