Find a Meditative State
A specific way to deal with a funk is what Goldstein calls “Be” practice. To do this, take some deep breaths and notice how your body is feeling. “We’re learning how to stop fixing the problem and just learning how to ‘be’ for a moment,” says Goldstein. Feel the tension, lightness, warmth, and cold of different body parts. Gauge how you emotions are expressing themselves physically. This takes only a minute and is an easy way to create space between you and your moodiness.
