Less-than-reputable companies come and go, either failing to catch on with the public or driven out of business by federal watchdogs. The good news is, a handful of companies like 23andMe, Pathway Genomics, and Inherent Health have established themselves as credible players. Whether you choose one of these or use a smaller company (there are a number of perfectly legit companies that specialize in specific health conditions), here are some rules to follow.
