There seems to be a new rule for buying yogurt: the thicker, the better. Greek yogurt – full of protein and low in fat – has seen a 2,800 percent growth in the past five years. Next up, Iceland. Smári Organic Icelandic Yogurt, the Icelandic take on yogurt, packs up to 32 ounces of milk into one cup, increasing the protein and thickness, but not the sugar or fat. Smári ($2.39) is the newest entry in this category and a standout: It’s not just the tastiest, but the only one with organic, grass-fed milk. Then there’s the 0 grams fat, 20 grams protein, and 6 grams sugar. Not bad for a snack.
