We’ve all been stumped for what exercises to do when we’ve got a few minutes to spare. So we turned to trainer Alonzo Wilson, founder of Tone House, a high-intensity class that's frequently called “the toughest workout in New York City,” for a few go-to moves.
While the routine you’ll find at Wilson’s gym is a fast-paced onslaught of sprints, burpees, and drills using battle ropes, weighted sleds, and plyo boxes, the exercises he recommends are easy to do anywhere. The bigger challenge? Finding out if you can keep up with his infamous, muscle-quivering warm-up that begins every Tone House class.
