Kevin Hart is on a roll—and it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down any time soon.
The October 2016 Men’s Fitness cover star topped the list of the highest-paid comedians in the world for 2016, officially knocking Jerry Seinfeld off the top of the heap—the first time that’s happened since Forbes started ranking comics by the cash they bring in. Hart made more than double what Seinfeld brought in from June 2015 to June 2016, putting him at sixth overall on the Forbes Celebrity 100 List—even ahead of his good friend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the highest-paid actor in the world.

The ultra-fit funnyman’s rise was fueled by playing comedy shows around the world over the past year, plus starring in the box-office hits Central Intelligence with Johnson and Ride Along 2 with Ice Cube. Hart’s signature sneaker with Nike and his deals with companies like Foot Locker and H&M—including his clever ad campaign with David Beckham—have made Hart one of the most well-known entertainers in the world. And don’t forget about his new set of emjois that are breaking the Internet.
Even though he just topped this list, there’s a good chance his 2016-2017 stretch could be even more lucrative.
The comedian is releasing his next stand-up movie special with Kevin Hart: What Now? on October 14. He’s also doing a new show on Comedy Central, Kevin Hart: Hart of the City, that will follow him as he tours comedy venues around the country in cities like New York, Washington, Atlanta, and his native Philadelphia.

Hart isn’t slowing down on the big screen either—he’s pairing with Johnson again on the highly anticipated Jumanji sequel and he’ll tap into his dramatic side with The Untouchables alongside Bryan Cranston. The Jumanji film is shaping up to be badass, and Hart has already sent some fun dispatches straight from the jungle on his social media.
And it looks like he’ll be staying there for a while.
