Whether you’re a basketball fan or not, this March Madness news is sure to make the tournament a little more exciting. Thanks to the Washington Post, teams that landed the coveted tournament spots no longer just have bragging rights—they also have mascot emojis.
68 emojis have been unveiled, and they all have their game faces on. So if your favorite school made cut, or was one of the 16 teams who ”just missed the dance”, you’re in luck.
Now, instead of typing out your team name, you can simply throw in that mascot emoji.
We’re betting this is just the start of many more sports emojis to come (Kentucky fans, how would you feel about a Coach Cal emoji?) Regardless, this new emoji game has potential to bring the Madness to a whole new level.
