American Media Inc.’s health and lifestyle print juggernaut Men’s Fitness has joined forces with premier men’s lifestyle print publication Men’s Journal to create the ultimate destination for fit, healthy, and adventurous men. Beginning with the November issue, current Men’s Fitness subscribers will receive Men’s Journal with the tagline: “Now Incorporating Men’s Fitness.”

The new and improved Men’s Journal magazine will ship 12 issues a year, up from 10, and contain 30% more pages per issue at no additional cost to its valued readers. What’s more, the combined print circulation jumps 66% for a total of 1.25 million subscribers.

“While Men’s Fitness and Men’s Journal are being rolled together into a single print publication, you can still visit both and for even more expansive coverage of all that our shared brands have to offer,” says AMI Vice President and Editorial Director Shawn Perine.

The shift to a digital-first strategy enables to further establish itself as the leading online destination for performance-driven men. With more than 10 million monthly unique visitors, looks to bolster its video output while continuing to host successful franchises like its annual Game Changers editorial program, and also introducing new programs such as the Ultimate Athlete event experience in 2018.

“I’m proud to invite you to join us as we embark on a new leg of our journey, one in which we expand into new horizons to provide you with even more of what you want as you pursue a life lived to its fullest,” Perine adds.
