Don’t look now, New Yorkers, but a new superhero is in town—and he’s cleaning up the streets the hard way.

In the final “street trailer” for Luke Cage, Marvel’s third Netflix series after Daredevil and Jessica Jones, the titular superhero throws dudes through walls, walks out of explosions, catches bullets with his hands, and spouts one liners at his enemies, including his famous catchphrase, “Sweet Christmas.”

Mike Colter stars as Cage, a super-strong, bulletproof Harlem resident looking improve his city one villain ass-kicking at a time.

The trailer shows off what Cage will be up against, including head gangster Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes (Mahershala Ali) and his cousin, devious politician Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard). There are cameos of Cage allies, including police detective Misty Knight (Simone Missick) and nurse Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), who has some superhero experience after helping out Daredevil quite a bit on his show.

Luke Cage isn’t exactly Colter’s Marvel debut—he guest-starred as Cage on the Jessica Jones series—but now he’s front and center on this project. So it makes sense that Colter, one of our 2016 Game Changers, got himself in prime shape to play the unbreakable hero for hire, telling Men’s Fitness he added 30 pounds of muscle to his frame by using cross-training workouts, heavy lifts, and swimming. The actor—he’s also been in Million Dollar Baby— went just as hard in the kitchen, putting together an intense nutritional regimen that included vegan plant protein shakes, supplements, and a protein-heavy diet.

Another bonus: The new series is shaping up to have one of the best soundtracks on television, with its heavy use of vintage hip-hop (Wu-Tang!) and Nas’s classic “Made You Look.” Keep that in mind next time you’re looking for a new workout playlist.

Luke Cage is set to hit Netflix on Friday, September 30.
