Norman Reedus and Woody Harrelson Bring the Heat in the ‘Triple 9’ Trailer

"Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus plays a menacing thief in "Triple 9."

We’re less than a month away from the release of Triple 9, a fast-paced crime thriller starring an impressive ensemble cast that features Aaron Paul, Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, and—of course—our March 2016 cover star, Norman Reedus, who is trading out his Walking Dead crossbow for something with a little more firepower. (If only the survivors of the zombie apocalypse had C4 at their disposal.)

“Triple 9,” as referenced in the closing seconds of the trailer, refers to police code for officer down. The film centers around a group of corrupt cops who must perform a heist against insurmountable odds after being blackmailed by the Russian mob, and they’ll need to manufacture a “999” in order to pull it off. Who doesn’t love a good heist?

Triple 9, directed by John Hillcoat and also starring Kate Winslet, Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Gal Gadot, explodes into theaters on February 26.
