“People think exercise means going to a gym and beating the shit out of yourself for an hour or two and trying to impress the hard body working out next to you on some newfangled machine,” Sam says. For Sam, staying in shape simply means doing something every day that makes him sweat. It shouldn’t be regimented and it has to be enjoyable, whether it’s hiking, biking, dancing, or gardening.
