Drink a Beer
Partly because some brilliant Spanish researchers determined that beer is good for rehydration, but also because you earned it! A crisp pilsner or session ale would be ideal, while some 10% ABV Russian imperial stout might just knock you out.
Holy crap, you just finished your first run! Did you enjoy yourself? Awesome. Now all you need to do is do it again. Maybe wait a day or two, though, to see whether your muscles or joints are sore, and to recover fully. Then make plans to head out anew — and this time, maybe invite a friend to join you?
