The demands of the modern workplace prevent most of us from going totally off the grid. The next best thing, and it’s totally doable: reclaiming your offline life in 10-minute increments. “Every 90 minutes to two hours during the workday, take 10 minutes and get away from all screens. Go for a walk, listen to music, or surround yourself with nature,” says Rosen. “Technology is wonderful, but most of us are overloaded with it. Our brains are always on, unable to relax and de-stress.” Regular 10-minute offline fixes will reset your mental batteries and remind yourself what IRL is all about.
