Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson, the 6'9" actor who plays Ser Gregor Clegane ("The Mountain That Rides") on Game of Thrones, shared his nutrition plan as he trains for the 2016 World's Strongest Man Competition. Björnsson has finished on the contest's podium four times, but never taken the overall title.
We tallied his nine meals in a recipe calculator, and using conservative estimates for items without servings list, this daily calorie intake is roughly three times that of the average man, at 6,600. This daily protein, however, was nearly nine times the recommend level for men, at 482 grams. Though he mixes up his protein sources, that's the equivalent of 17 hamburgers (no bun) or about four pounds of lean steak. Here's his full meal plan, as posted on Instagram:
