Research Shows Weed Can Assist in Brain Tumor Reduction
A November 2014 study at St. George’s University of London shows dramatic reduction of brain tumors when radiation therapy is supplemented with THC and cannabinoids. The study abstract suggests that cannabinoids actively prime high-grade glioma cancer to respond more effectively to ionizing radiation. Treatment for glioma is generally unsuccessful, and survival rates for the disease are currently very low.
