Eating your vegetables may help keep prostate cancer at bay. That’s according to a study that looked at 24 years of health data for 4,577 men, focusing on the link between diet and prostate cancer. The results were clear: Men who replaced carbohydrates and animal fats with nuts and vegetable oils were up to 30 percent less likely to develop lethal prostate cancer – thanks in part to reduced insulin and inflammation.
