Thanks to its convenient Midtown location, Truman’s has developed a cult following in the suit-and-tie crowd since it opened in 2009. What we like about Truman’s are the giant privacy screens at each station, which mean you don’t have to stare at the guy in the chair next to you (for manicure and pedicure rookies, there’s a degree of privacy you won’t find elsewhere). And with members-only scotch tastings, trunk shows, and other monthly events, there’s a community of fellow Truman’s fans to buddy up with when you’ve settled into your comfort zone.
