6. Yoga and pilates
Yoga and pilates play a big role in Judge’s training routine.
“The yoga and pilates—it’s not most guys’ favorite thing to do, but they’re more important for him than they are for other players,” Page Odle, Judge’s agent, told NJ.com. “Sometimes, long-limbed players have a hard time. The game is tougher on those guys. Because he’s so athletically gifted, he has such fast-twitch (ability), he doesn’t have to swing hard to hit the ball a long way.”
