Todd Gurley had an incredible offensive season for the Rams, leading the NFL with 17 rushing touchdowns and rushing for 1,251 yards. Over the last two seasons, Gurley has established himself as one of the best running backs in the league, and he chalks that up to his hard work in the gym. Gurley told us the five essential moves he uses to build strength and about his favorite workouts to do in the gym.
“My favorite exercises are squats and my least favorite to do is upper-body stuff,” Gurley said. “I’m always squatting when I work out. I try and switch it up every week, but I do a lot of quad exercises, leg extensions, deadlifts, and hamstring curls to help build muscle, my core, and gain stamina. Lower body, always do lower body—never skip a leg day.”
