Manny Pacquiao—one part politician; one part singing sensation—is an all-around boxing beast.
The 36-year-old eight-division world champion boxer starred in, and directed, a music video. The video, released on his Facebook account last Sunday, shows Pac-man rallying his nation of the Philippines.
The song, which is titled “Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino”, means “I will fight for the Filipino.” Throughout the video, stark footage can be seen of the chaos and debris-cluttered streets of his native land following Typhoon Haiyan’s arrival in the region a year and a half ago.
Pac-man is no stranger to the music industry, and has released numerous songs in the Philippines, but this one surely takes the cake ahead of his May 2nd tussle with “Money” Mayweather.
