1. Houston Rockets vs. New York Knicks – Wed, Nov. 1
Player to watch: Kristaps Porzingis (Knicks)
Whatever Porzingis did in the off-season to get in shape—lots of weightlifting, boxing, and long hours in the gym—it’s working. The Knicks have won three straight games, and the Latvian player is blossoming into the superstar that everyone expected he might be following the Carmelo Anthony trade. Porzingis is averaging 29.3 points per game, ranked third in the NBA, and he continues to show why Knicks fans have such high expectations for him. The team got off to a rough start this season, but after winning against LeBron James and the Cavaliers, the Knicks could make it four in a row with a victory over another tough team, the Houston Rockets.
The Knicks host the Rockets on Wednesday, November 1 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.Back to top
