After being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round of the NFL Draft, Jaylen Samuels is ready to make an impact. The 6’0”, 223-pound bruiser has the strength and versatility to play a number of positions, including fullback, running back, and tight end.

In college at NC State, Samuels helped the team pull out wins in a number of games, including in the Independence Bowl in 2016, where he had three touchdowns. Samuels’ combination of speed, size, and strength makes him a very tough player to tackle, and he’s looking to prove it on the highest level now in the NFL.

To help him get things done, Samuels has a playlist that he likes to use to pump himself up for workouts and before he takes the field for games.

“I chose these songs because they get me into my zone before games or practice, in which I need to be lit before I step on the field,” Samuels said. “I also choose these songs because they all have different vibes on each song.”
