Marquise Goodwin, Long Jump
The Buffalo Bills wide receiver knows what it means to represent his country at the Summer Games—he was previously part of the U.S. team at the 2012 Olympics. Goodwin placed 10th in London in the long jump competition before being drafted into the NFL in 2013. It’s no wonder: a two-time NCAA champion in the long jump, the wideout posted the third-fastest 40-yard dash time in NFL scouting combine history. The former Texas Longhorns wide receiver won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan Am Games and posted a career-best jump of 8.45m/27-08.75 feet at the the Meeting Region Guadeloupe in May. Goodwin did not qualify for Rio at the U.S. Olympic trials.
