Position: Linebacker for the Green Bay Packers
Numbers: 6'3", 255 Pounds
Why He's On the List: Sheer explosive power. Every single defensive play the Packers run requires Matthews to move with maximum force and maximum acceleration. He gets the endurance to do that on repeat with workouts like a three-hour circuit rotating between moves like dumbbell bench presses, rope slams, and sled drags. Other days he’ll do reverse single-leg squats on a Bosu, medicine-ball lateral wall throws, and split squat single-arm rows. Out on the field he trains with stair runs, band-resisted sprints, tire jumps, and agility moves. Add in a mix of foam rolling, yoga, and Pilates to help avoid injuries, and you’ve got the recipe for a powerfully fit dude.
