Why He's On the List: He's as strict in the kitchen as he is on the gridiron. Freeney pushes his body through some pretty insane moves, like sprinting while pulling a 100-pound tire, throwing the same tire as far as he can, then dragging two of the tires up a dirt hill. His diet is, shall we say, a bit on the strict side. Whenever Freeney needs to determine whether or not he can eat something, he checks a binder he keeps in his kitchen. He follows something called a Progression Diet, which uses blood analysis to see what foods boost cellular function. Some foods in his “yes” list are beef, pinto beans, chicken, grape juice, and Fuji apples. Clearly it's doing him nothing but favors.
