10. Alex Rodriguez Suspended 162 Games
Yankees slugger and infamous PED suspect Alex Rodriguez was suspended for the entire 2014 season by Major League Baseball. The league actually attempted to ban A-Rod for longer – 211 games – for using performance enhancing drugs and trying to hinder the league’s investigation into his dealings with the Biogenesis anti-aging clinic. The suspension was the longest non-lifetime ban in baseball history and cost Rodriguez more than $22 million in salary.
