The NBA season is right around the corner. Every year in the NBA, fans start the season with hope. No matter how good or bad your team was the season before—whether they’re the defending champion Golden State Warriors or the bottom-of-the-league Phoenix Suns—everyone thinks this year could be the year their team goes all the way.

The NBA season will kick off with a doubleheader on TNT with the Boston Celtics hosting the Philadelphia 76ers at 8 p.m., and then a second matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder visiting the Golden State Warriors at 10:30 p.m. Over the next two days, the rest of the NBA will tip off, including the Chicago Bulls taking on the Sixers, and the Los Angeles Lakers playing the Portland Trail Blazers in a TNT doubleheader on Thursday night.

This season has plenty of storyline and intrigue, with LeBron James going to the Los Angeles Lakers, Kawhi Leonard being traded to the Toronto Raptors, and the Boston Celtics getting back Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward from injuries.

To help kick off the season, the league brought together Travis Scott, Kenny Smith, and Famous Los, plus a whole bunch of NBA fans as part of the “This Is Why We Play” global campaign.
