With Chris Bosh Gone, Will Miami set their sights on a lottery pick?
The unexpected and extremely sad loss of Chris Bosh — he hasn't played since February after being diagnosed with life-threatening blood clots — has ruined Miami's long-term plans. With Bosh gone, it no longer makes much sense to keep the roster that Pat Riley assembled around him, and as such, this may well be a year for the Heat to bottom out and attempt to snag a high draft pick. Doing this will require moving Goran Dragic, who'd be a great fit for a team who are young, have a logjam in the frontcourt, and could use some veteran leadership and some scoring in the backcourt.
